- THE FUTURE IS NOW: CII AND THE MODERN PROFESSION
Presented by Melissa Collett, Professional Standards Director, CII
Melissa will start the session hosting an interactive quiz on the history of the CII - with prizes to be won! She will then move right up to date sharing examples of how your professional body of choice is modern, relevant and diverse. The session will conclude with considering the future trends in the insurance sector, and seeing whether the thoughts of the UNA Alliance and friends compares to a recent survey of CEOs.

Presented by Rob Messruther, Senior Development Underwriter, Hiscox Insurance
Rob’s session will provide an in-depth view into the exposures technology firms face in this fast paced marketplace.
With most new start-ups these days being technology based, this is one of the fastest growing industries in the UK. We all need to be armed appropriately in order to talk their language and understand the issues these specific customer’s face to ensure the right cover is in place.
- SPEED ‘DATING’
Back again by popular demand this “speed dating” session will offer all UNA Members the opportunity to meet face-to-face with all 11 of UNA’s Partners – split over 2 sessions in order to accommodate everyone.
This will be open to up to 4 delegates per session and if wanted, Members can have different attendees from the morning session to the afternoon session. (Insurers are limited to 2 per session and again can choose to have different attendees per session depending on the Members being seen.)
Deliberately, there is no scripted agenda, so if you have anything specific to ask an Insurer, or have no current relationship with them, now is the time to get your message across.
Each “date” will last no longer than 9 minutes before a whistle blows and you move onto the next Partner. The timing will be strictly monitored.
