Welcome everyone to this year’s UNA Conference, which we’re delighted to be hosting at Oulton Hall Hotel in Yorkshire. It’s particularly pertinent that we’re here this year, as we support our friends and founder Member, T L Dallas to celebrate their centenary.
As always, I’m delighted to welcome delegates from both our Member companies and our Partners. I thank you all for your continued support.
This year’s itinerary is all about looking forward to the future whilst acknowledging the past with our apt tagline of “Back to the Future”. We have a couple of surprises along the way during the day and we’re delighted to be holding a 1920's themed evening of entertainment, to hark back to days of old.
The day’s programme sees the usual mix of keynote speakers and breakout sessions, so please take time to read through all the relevant information and participate as much as possible.
During the evening, we will be having our usual after dinner raffle with several gifts this year kindly donated by our Partner Insurers. In addition, Allianz have donated a signed photo of the 1966 England Squad, which we will be auctioning off. They tell me it’s been hanging up in their board room for many years but has now been replaced with a photo of something more in keeping with the fast paced insurance world!? In this manner, we will be seeking bids as we aim to raise as much money as possible for Mind, a charity close to many peoples’ hearts.
